I just realized I never showed how the client finalized these cd case templates. I loved the little changes she made they really helped the designs. Mostly color tweaks. Of course, the photographs steal the show (as they should)! I love that she was able to get some printed and then photograph the real thing. It is so fun seeing it in final product.
I thought I would share a little set of cards I have been playing around with.
Just a different one I tried for this series. It seems to have turned out.
This one is also one of my favorites.
Here is the third one in the series. One of the things the client asked for was an "illustrated look". So for this one I tried to give it a more sketched look. I attempted this with the line treatment and tried to make the pattern imperfect in some ways. Not sure if it really worked. It's all about exploring.
Here is the second one! These are printed at www.whcc.com. If you want to check out the final results of how they look you can see final versions here at Simplicity Photography's blog. You may have to scroll a little to find them. I will also post the final ones after I have shown them all.
Just finished up a fun new project for Simplicity Photography; CD cases. I loved working on these. Here is the first of the group. The right half would be the front of the case and the left would fold and become the back of the case. Then the client would open up and have their cd stored inside.
